Today, May 11, 2026, the spirit of celebration is officially in the air as we kick off the morning activities for the first day of the 26th Founding Anniversary and Intramurals 2026 here at EVSU Dulag! We began this milestone morning with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration at Our Lady of Refuge Parish, followed by a high-energy parade led by the Supreme Student Government. Right now, the campus is buzzing with pride as we carry out our Opening Protocol, centered around this year’s powerful theme: “Shining Through the Prism of Excellence, Virtue, Service, and Unity.” We are currently gathered for the formal opening ceremonies, where we’ve been inspired by the welcome remarks of our Campus Administrator, Dr. Gerald Jayson B. Balanga, and a keynote message from our University President, Dr. Dennis C. De Paz.

We are also deeply honored to hear Words of Felicitations from our distinguished guests and their representatives: Atty. Melvyn Carlo T. Barroa (Regional Director, DICT VIII), represented by Ms. Florence Yanto-Raganit, Focal of the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau; Hon. Atty. Mildred Joy Que, CPA (Board Member, 2nd District of Leyte); and Hon. Jade A. Agullo (Municipal Mayor, Dulag, Leyte), represented by Ms. Jennille Advincula from the Mayor’s Office.
