Faculty and non-teaching staff are currently gathered at the Computer Laboratory today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for the “CARE CAMP: Orientation on the Updates to Extension Services” training workshop. The event kicks off with a warm welcome message from Sir Arnold M. Brit, Administrative Officer V, speaking on behalf of Dr. Gerald Jayson B. Balanga. Following the opening remarks, Alumni Coordinator Mr. Dennis T. Palejaro introduces the resource speakers who are set to guide the participants through the latest institutional standards and community engagement strategies.
The session is highlighted by two expert presentations: Dir. Rustom Clemente is currently discussing the “Updates to Extension Services Forms, Format, and Documentary Requirements,” while Prof. Reshyl Del Pilar leads a discussion on the “Integrated Needs Assessment for Extension Services.” These lectures serve as a precursor to an interactive Training Workshop Session, where participants are actively working to apply these new formats to their extension projects. The program will conclude with Words of Thanks from Dr. Rotchie P. Castil, Coordinator for Entrepreneurship & Extension Services, marking a significant step forward in streamlining the university’s outreach efforts.
