The first-year BSIT and fourth-year BSE convened at the EVSU-DC Function Hall for a training seminar on Disaster Risk Reduction Management in Education and Emergencies, anchored on the theme “Aligning Education and Emergency Response: A Comprehensive Approach to DRR,”
Graced by the Campus Administrator, Dr. Gerald Jayson B. Balanga, together with the Head of the Administrative Unit, Mr. Arnold M. Brit, the said event was organized by the course instructors handling DRR subjects.
Also in attendance were some personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) and Dulag Emergency Response and Rescue Unit (DERRU), who served as resource persons, spearheaded by Atty. Leah Caminong-Maasin, alongside BLS trainers Mr. Geoffrey Baldo and Mr. Elmer Loncgop.
