The Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) has officially cemented a strategic partnership with FundLife International through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on November 21. This collaboration launches the Tech2Thrive: Building Future Skills through Digital Mentorship Project, an initiative aimed at significantly boosting the career readiness of EVSU-DC students by providing them with crucial digital tools, specialized training, and mentorship. The formal signing ceremony was spearheaded by the University President, Dr. Dennis C. De Paz, the EVSU-DC Campus Administrator, Dr. Gerald Jayson B. Balanga, and the FundLife International Operations Manager and Company Secretary, Ms. Kimberly C. Lopez.
The Tech2Thrive Project is set to initially engage twenty-five (25) students, providing them with focused digital skills and guidance. However, the partnership is designed for growth, with a potential for future expansion to reach more students. This initiative reflects EVSU-DC’s commitment to equipping its students with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital economy and enhance their employability upon graduation.
