Freshmen students of Eastern Visayas State University—Dulag Campus demonstrated active involvement in the Local Annual General Tactical Inspection (LAGTI) held at the EVSU-DC Grounds. This mandatory and practical exercise forms a core component of their enrollment in the National Service Training Program (NSTP) course. The inspection is a crucial activity designed to test the students’ preparedness, discipline, and the effectiveness of their training in areas like disaster response, community service, and civic welfare, which are all integral facets of the NSTP mandate.

The successful engagement of the freshmen in the LAGTI reflects the university’s commitment to holistic education, extending beyond the classroom to instill values of citizenship and social responsibility. By participating in this tactical inspection, the students are given a firsthand experience of organizational discipline and the practical application of the skills acquired through their NSTP instruction. This experience is essential in molding them into responsible, well-rounded citizens ready to contribute meaningfully to their communities and nation.
