On December 9, 2025, the BSIT students of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Dulag Campus engaged in a high-level international learning experience through a virtual lecture titled “Lecture on Advanced Notebook LM and Gemini AI 3.0.” The session featured Dr. Charline Nixon, a Collegiate Professor from the University of Maryland Global Campus–Europe, as the guest resource speaker. Facilitated via Google Meet, the event allowed students and faculty to delve into the cutting-edge capabilities of generative AI, focusing on how tools like Notebook LM and the latest Gemini AI 3.0 are transforming information processing and technical innovation.

The lecture, attended by over 50 participants, including Campus Administrator Dr. Gerald Jayson B. Balanga and faculty members like Mrs. Vanissa O. Catindoy, served as a vital bridge between local academic pursuits and global technological trends. By hosting experts like Dr. Nixon, EVSU Dulag Campus reinforces its commitment to providing students with world-class insights and preparing them for the rapidly evolving digital landscape. This collaboration not only expanded the students’ technical horizons but also inspired them to embrace the potential of AI in their future professional careers.
