In observance of the upcoming Holy Week celebration, all classes across Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) campuses will undergo temporary schedule adjustments to allow students and staff to rest and participate in religious activities. From April 14 to April 16, 2025, classes will be conducted asynchronously. This approach grants students the flexibility to manage their coursework while engaging in the solemn traditions of Holy Week.

Following the asynchronous period, EVSU will implement a full suspension of classes from April 17 to April 19, 2025. This period coincides with the core days of the Holy Week observance. Regular class instruction will officially resume on Monday, April 21, 2025. These adjustments are designed to honor the significance of the religious holiday and provide the university community with time for reflection and observance.
