In preparation for the upcoming educational tour, the parents of the third-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration convened at the function hall, Friday, February 14.

During the event, the faculty from the two programs presented their syllabi outlining the relevance of students’ engagement in the tour. This, according to the faculty, will allow the students to experience the real-world of their respective industries, exposing them to the actual operations in both fields.

Furthermore, the parents raised relevant questions regarding the conduct of the said activity, to which the faculty addressed and made clarification.

Having been enlightened of its vital relevance in the experiential learning of the students, travel agencies that also graced the meeting presented different itineraries, and engaged on a bidding.

The said meeting ended with IM travel agency winning the bid over two other agencies namely Asian Travel and tour and Executive Express, after having been selected by majority of the parents.

Also present in the event was the Campus Administrator, Dr. Gerald Jayson B. Balanga, alongside the faculty of the two programs, Dr. Suanie T. Llego, Mr. Daryl Brosas and Ms. Noelle Asuero from the BSOA together with Mr. Dennis T. Palejaro and Mr. Rod Anthonie Bongosia from the BSIT, graced by some faculty from the Entrepreneurship program, Ms. Vanessa Juntila and Ms. Sheena Mae Ayo, hosted by Mr. Jeffrey V. Caminong.
